Self Discovery and Pushing My Limits: Irfan's Journey of Volunteerism and Leadership with nEbO
nEbO Leader Mohammad Irfan bin Suhairi has been volunteering actively with nEbO since 2021. His first interaction with nEbO was when he led a project as part of ITE College West Service Ambassador Club to benefit seniors under the care of AMKFSC’s COMNET. Since then, he has inspired youths while volunteering for a beach clean up with Compassvale Secondary School, and also brought joy to beneficiaries through Bake some GOODies v3. Irfan was also part of nEbO’s pioneer CSR trip to Batam to uplift a slum community and orphanage.
Irfan grew up in a challenging environment, and has always been seeking opportunities to further develop himself. Reflecting on his journey with nEbO, Irfan fondly elaborates , “I am very thankful to nEbO for providing me with many opportunities to discover myself and push my limits. The trip to Batam in 2022 was the first time I had ever been overseas. It is even more meaningful that I could volunteer and bring joy to the beneficiaries as well on the trip. I am proud to be leading this year’s Project Batam, and look forward to contributing to society even more together with nEbO.”
